What is no load life insurance?
Simply put, no load life insurance is life insurance that is cheaper because it has very little or no "load".
"Load", here, refers to the fees that are usually added to your premiums, such as agent's fees or commissions. This enables you to buy adequate life insurance coverage at cheaper premiums. This may be the case if you are buying your life insurance coverage directly from the life insurance company, like through their website.
The advantage of a no load life insurance is that if you are paying the same amount, you can have the extra money go towards your policy's cash value (or the investment portion of your policy), particularly if you are buying a whole life policy. This means that you can grow your cash value more quickly. You may just need to pay an initial fee to set up the policy, but this will still come out cheaper in the long run as opposed to buying a standard-priced life insurance policy.
However, since you are not working with an agent, it may be possible that you may make a wrong decision concerning what type of insurance product to buy, as well as the correct amount of coverage needed. This is because the agent is not there to give you advice that you may need. You may also not be able to enjoy the services that an agent gives.
No load life insurance is quite useful for those with low income. However, if you are planning on getting a no load life insurance policy, you should check the company's financial stability first.
To also get the best deal, it's best to shop around to see which company can provide you with the best premiums at the policy amount you are applying for.
